Participation in the Peace Festival and Conference 2015 (4th-5th December 2015)
The Peace Festival and Conference is being organized each year by Little Eden’s Justice and Peace Centre (LEJAPEC). For this year’s conference, the Centre has carried out research over six months period (January to June 2015) to identify areas where the Peace that has taken Botswana so far can be strengthened and preserved for the future generations to enjoy as with the past and present generations. From the research, Crime and Corruption have been pointed as major areas of concern that have a direct bearing on the level of peace in the country and that need more attention. Hence, Crime and Corruption will be among the key themes that will be taken up during this year’s conference. The Managing Director of Tyedo, Mr T.Katlholo will be sharing his most valuable insights on the theme of corruption by presenting a paper entitled “Living in Perpetual Fear: The Swelling Incidents of Crime and Corruption.”
